I've rec'd an advance notice of an alert that will be sent to you from the Nevada Division of Insurance that I am sharing with you. Please see below.
Dear Nevada Producers,
The Commissioner of Insurance is very grateful for your efforts to support the Nevada citizens during the time of the COVID-19 emergency shut-down. This pandemic has created unprecedented challenges, and correspondingly many new insurance related questions as well. The Division of Insurance has created a section of our website dedicated to COVID-19, (http://doi.nv.gov/News_Notices/Emergency_Notices/) to help pool insurance related notices and resources for our state’s consumers and members of the insurance industry.
Towards the bottom of the Emergency Notices of the Commissioner page, a section entitled, For industry: Information from Division regarding COVID-19 contains several important notices, including a Statement from the Nevada Insurance Commissioner, a Statement regarding Nevada Property & Casualty Market and a Statement regarding Nevada Health Insurance Market. These notices are intended to help answer some of yours and your customers’ questions, and to provide direction in how the industry can help Nevada’s consumers during this very difficult period.
Thank you for the important role you play in protecting our state’s consumers. Please check with the COVID-19 section of our website on an ongoing basis, as the Division will continue to update this page as new information or resources become available.
