Nevada Newsmaker Headlines Monthly Luncheon
Broadcast personality Sam Shad delivered a compelling presentation at the chapter’s June membership luncheon, sharing insights on how insurance professionals can effectively leverage both traditional and digital platforms to reach potential clients.
As a well-known Northern Nevada broadcaster for over three decades, Shad drew from his extensive experience in radio, television, and podcasting to offer valuable guidance. Notably, he encouraged professionals to embrace all available media—emphasizing that even emerging platforms like TikTok are increasingly being used by senior clients in the Medicare space.

During the Q&A, Shad reflected on highlights from his storied career, including a deeply impactful interview with Jehan Sadat, wife of the late Egyptian president Anwar Sadat. He recounted her vivid reflections on living under the threat of assassination and the legacy that followed.
